The LLC (Sàrl in French) is a very common form of company for entrepreneurs.

From the limited liability of the partners, the low input in share capital, as well as a flexible management structure, this company type is particularly well suited to small and medium-sized businesses.

The main difference between the SA and the Sàrl is that the minimum contribution differs: it is CHF 20,000 for the Sàrl and CHF 100,000 for SA.

However, the SA has a more complex structure, and enables the  anonymity of shareholders. It is also perceived as more credible than a limited liability company, as it is preferred by larger structures.
